Blaxland East Public School Fete Day 2024
The bi-annual Blaxland East Public School Fete Day is always a highlight, and this year was particularly special to me—not only as a Platinum Sponsor of the school but also as a BEPS parent.
We were blessed with a beautiful, sunny day, the perfect backdrop for what turned out to be the most successful fete in BEPS history! Months of planning by dedicated families, teachers, and community members paid off, raising an incredible $40,126 for our little school. These funds will go toward technology upgrades, sporting equipment, supporting teacher wishlists, and so much more, directly benefitting our students.
It was wonderful to see so many friendly faces stop by my marquee for a chat. My family and I enjoyed running the popcorn machines, with all proceeds going to the P&C. Our office also donated a $200 luxury hamper to the BEPS raffle, and it was great to see the excitement it brought.
A huge congratulations to the Silvers family for winning my $1,000 VISA Gift Card giveaway! 🎉 Ian shared with me that this was the first prize he’s ever won—what a prize to kick things off with!
Thank you to everyone who entered my competition and came out to support the fete. It was a fun-filled day with food, stalls, rides, entertainment, face painting, and a true sense of community spirit. Here’s to continuing to make BEPS the heart of Blaxland East!
